The rear doors are also enormous and open to nearly 90 degrees, making for easier entry and exit. A flip-and-fold second-row seat (optional on the SXT and standard on the others) further facilitates passenger movement. The Durango's maximum cargo capacity of 84.5 cubic feet is competitive, and its 47.7 cubic feet behind the second row is on the large side. With either the standard 293-hp 3.6-liter V-6 or the optional 360-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, the Durango is a gutsy rig with plenty of dynamism for towing and passing. With all seats stowed, the Durango offers more than enough space for hauling cargo. The dashboard is not complicated, with an optional 8-inch touch screen being one of the most intuitive and logical infotainment system on the market. The interior is filled with quality materials and soft padded arm rests. Walking up to the Durango for the first time, there is no denying that it is a sharp-looking vehicle.
