The GV80s innards are plush indeed, starting with heated-and-cooled seats for front and rear passengers, and going as far as heated armrests and a ride that's near silent even at highway speeds. As one of our favorites in its segment, the Genesis GV80 has earned a spot on our Editors' Choice list for 2025. On the inside, the GV80's gauge cluster and infotainment display are now jointly presented on a massive 27.0-inch touchscreen. We're big fans of the extra power provided by the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6. The GV80 also has a smooth ride and predictable handling. Without a doubt, Genesis's efforts to make a large three-row feel athletic in corners are a success. Even at highway cruising speeds across tattered Michigan roadways it delivers a wonderfully quiet ride. Photos don't do justice to how rich and elegant the GV80's interior is. We fit 13 carry-on suitcases behind the second row and the GV80 swallowed a total of 28 with the second row folded flat. How comfortable is the GV80? One of the most important aspects for any luxury vehicle is comfort, and the GV80 does this better than many. One of the highlights is excellent ride comfort. All V6-equipped GV80s come with an electronically controlled suspension system that uses a forward-facing camera to read the road surface ahead and make suspension adjustments quickly on the fly. The tri-zone climate control is also a highlight for its ease of use and effectiveness. The same goes for the available heated and ventilated seats. Seat comfort is very good as well.
